hi pullman, I have done VS+GC with Eric actually ( the one mentioned by John91 --> [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ).

here are somethings to share with u guys. Smile

So far, I have done some testing with/without this VS+GC, and as a result, with Eric's DIY VS+GC, I noticed below improvements,
- headlight brighter ( tested at LATAR hiway, totally dark there.. )
- electrical parts perform better ( audio volume, room light, air cond kick-in faster etc )
- gear change smoother
- RPM response is better
- engine warm up faster ( every morning )
- FC, to be confirmed, bcz I keep testing on the engine response, so the reading for current tank will not be accurate. tongue

but I have not tested other brands like Pivot Raizin etc yet, will swap with my fren's Pivot Raizin (VS-M) when we are free later.
maybe branded one will be better I don't know.. Question I did with Eric bcz it was budgeted, and I'm impressed with the outcome.

anyway, one thing I can confirmed is after installed VS+GC, the performance is definitely better than the stock one.

hope this help, enjoy your ride guys.

One word for the VS and GC. AWESOME.

I swear its not placebo effect, I nitpick at his work, see how this guy does everything. He knows his stuff in and out, and very professional.

For auto transmission owners out there, this is a definite must have. I only did 3 grounding points, (as mentioned above, minus the engine to firewall point). This solves the car jerking problem as it gives a smoother gear change, so no more high revs at low gears....

This is some very good stuff...

How much is this grounding + VS thingy cost?

John91... You said there is no more high revs at low gear... but the gear change depends on how you rev the car. This is what I noticed after driving it for a week. Do correct me if I am wrong. I'm also curious to know if this grounding and VS really work to our advantage. Smile
Thanks!

Yes, all auto transmission also depends on how you rev the car, but when driving at low speeds/ stop and go conditions the 1st gear-2nd gear change gives a rather high rpm even if you step on the throttle lightly which somehow jerks d car and gives a rattling sound. In a nutshell, it gives smoother gear change. I also noticed a slightly better fc. 0.5l/100km improvement.

You're right on that, John91. Our car isn't so smooth when it comes to jams. The FoFi loves to be driven hard and fast. LoL!

But I've tried being very gentle with the throttle and the 1st gear changes to 2nd gear at about 2,500RPM. This is normal I think (I hope). What do you think? What's your reading? Smile

U will be surprised after installed them, the result is amazing. ( FoFi 1.4 manual ) Smile

Around RM260 with installation, depends on how many cables + lengths you take.

Have fun, I am the 1st FoFi owner who did VS & GC with him.. Very Happy

I have install by 1st july . can feel the different .

VS RM160 fix.
GC is not necessary RM25, but it depends on the length of your cable.

Guys, im thinking to get VS+GC from Eric too. but he told me that it's not recommended to DIY the GC myself, coz needs expertise to do it properly (needs to grind of paint). Anyone of you installed the VS+GC yourself? mind to share some photos/tips of doing so? Would really appreciate it.
